Dates to Remember
Keep up with us on Facebook
Tomorrow Family of Christ Lutheran Church will be remembering the anniversary of Martin Luther's posting the 95 theses on the Wittenberg Church doors. This document was to stimulate a debate about the validity of indulgences for the forgiveness of sins. Instead, it led Luther to discover the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It raised question about what God's Word says and how we are forgiven for the sake of Jesus Christ. If you are struggling to see meaning in your life, or that you are not being fed the mighty Word of God, join us as we remember this event and what is means to be as a follower of Jesus Christ. Worship starts at 9:30 AM at 3501 E Chandler Blvd, Ahwatukee.

The Pope and Emperor Charles of the Holy Roman Empire required Luther to attend a hearing and defend or retract his teachings. When Martin Luther appeared before Emperor Charles V at the imperial hearing in Worms, Germany, he was asked if he would repudiate his writings. After a fitful night and remarkable prayer, he appeared on April 18, 1521 and made a significant speech which concluded:
"Unless I am convinced by Scripture and plain reason, -my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and I will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. Here I stand. God help me. Amen."
Join us Sunday as we mark one of the greatest events in history that change our world. Our Service begins at 9:30 AM this Sunday, Oct 25, 2026. We welcome young and old, singles, couple and families. Join us for this joyful celebration.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
Many Churches do not feed their flock the Word of God. They offer more encouragement and comfort rather than confronting our sinful nature and calling us to repent. Yes, there are times of encouragement and comfort but without the preaching the law. Without the law and confronting our sin, the Gospel power to save is weaken. God's Word kills and makes alive, it renews faith and hope. Join us Sunday Morning to hear and learn about God Himself. Be fed, be made alive. Sunday service is at 9:30 AM. Come be fed the Bread of Life.
